All of the films looks very decent to great on Bluray but the transfers are fairly low bitrates around 20Mbps with Beetlejuice being the highest around 22Mbps. At 10 bucks or so you can't go wrong though. I like each film for its own reasons and you can find reviews for each of those somewhere else. All in all nice deal.

Director Tim Burton has had a remarkably prolific career that has produced a long run of very successful and popular movies. He is renowned for such macabre, quirky, darkly comedic horror-fantasies as "Edward Scissorhands," "The Nightmare Before Christmas," "Sleepy Hollow," "Sweeney Todd," and "Frankenweenie," in addition to such varied fare as "Batman," "Ed Wood," "Mars Attacks!," "Big Fish," and "Alice in Wonderland." He has often worked with a stable of talented actors like Danny DeVito, Albert Finney, Martin Landau, Christopher Lee, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Vincent Price, Alan Rickman, Martin Short, and Christopher Walken.
The three movies in this compact set are among Burton's best-loved, one from his early oeuvre, the deliriously antic Beetlejuice (1988), and two more recent comedies, the subversive "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and the stop-motion animated "Corpse Bride" (both 2005). They of course star members of his repertory company: Burton's wife Helena Bonham Carter and friend Johnny Depp provide the lead voices in "Corpse Bride"; Depp also plays the lead in "Willie Wonka," for which he is again joined by Carter. In "Beetlejuice," Burton favorites Catherine O'Hara, Jeffrey Jones, and Winona Ryder are among the living, while the dead are played by Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, and Michael Keaton in the title role.
The high quality of these family-friendly films, the excellent picture and sound on Blu-ray, the multiple bonus features (commentaries, featurettes, deleted scenes, trailers, etc), and the low cost of the three-disc set all make it a winning value. Highly recommended!

When I saw these three movies bundled together I jumped on it right away! The movies are great, the transfer to bluray looked good, sounded good, I must say I'm very happy with my purchase.

I started out with a bucket list of 20-30 Must Have Blue-Rays right after I purchased my Blu-Ray player and I have found that these themed Triple Features are the perfect way to upgrade my DVD collection to Blu-Rays and, guess what? I often sell the three DVDs that these replace at a profit compared to what I pay for one Triple Feature ($9.99), so I am actually making money by upgrading to Blu-Rays! They also have all of the special features, etc. Of course, all three of these look great on Blu-Ray, which can't be said for every DVD in my collection. No need to replace most films from the 1940s and 1950s with Blu-Ray and there are only a handful from the 1960's that look better. 2001: A Space Odyssey, Dr. Strangelove, Lolita, Yellow Submarine, Spartacus, Lawrence of Arabia, To Kill a Mockingbird, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Graduate, Psycho and the James Bond films comes to mind. I have yet to pay more than $9.99 for a Blue Ray in Like New condition, occasionally Very Good and I almost always make or at the very least, greatly defray the cost by selling my DVD of the same title, if I have it.

I wanted Beetlejuice on bluray mostly so I kept looking for any bluray package that contained it. I found this deal on or around black friday deals week during November 2012. I didn't care for the corpse bride especially as a movie but the graphical clarity and beauty of it was excellent. These three movies were only marginally more expensive than getting beetlejuice alone as I couldn't find a particulary low price on Beetlejuice alone. I paid $9.99 yet it is currently is the same price amazingly enough. There is also a Tim burton collection with seven of his titles for $28.99 -when sold at its lowest price- which includes these same three movies.Remember to always check the bundled blu ray potentialities before purchasing to see if you are getting the best deal possible: as measured by the the lowest price the title has ever gone for by checking blu-ray.com. They will not, however show the lowest price the title has ever gone for as a lightning deal/wholesalers price yet I have noted that they show the gold box price because apparently the deal price lasts longer. Check all editions that were ever made because sometimes they release inferior versions and re-issue them. Sometimes the inferior editons have bad masters or enhancements visually or audio'logically which are addressed in later editions- although the inferior ones are oftentimes still being sold.
