Kathy Howard's keen insight and warm, heartfelt stories bring life to this Bible Study. Who would have thought that MALACHI could be so interesting and life-changing? I appreciate Kathy's attention to detail and her interesting, practical application that will definitely help me put these principles into practice. The easy-to-read format makes the study accessible amid my busy life. I love the SIZE of the book --- easily fits into my purse. A must read for anyone hungering for God's truth!

I'm leading a Bible study based on this book and I love it! It's so different from your normal study book. I've been learning a lot of new things, I've been challenged to read my Bible everyday, I've learned so much about the character of God! I've enjoyed this book so far and feel like it has had such an incredible impact on my relationship with God!It's shown me how to view God as a loving God, but also a Holy God.

Before His Throne was a pivotal book in my life. This Bible study came to my attention at just the right time (don't you love when God does that?), and I will always cherish the summer of 2009 when I worked my way through the book of Malachi with Kathy Howard. Kathy wasn't sitting outside on my patio with me drinking coffee each morning, but for all the warmth and wisdom I found in her Bible study, she could have been. This lady knows how to dig deep into the Word of God while using her own self effacing humor and personal stories to add practical application to her points. By the time I completed all eight weeks, I found my walk with God greatly strengthened and my knowledge of His holiness lovingly deepened. Before His Throne would be a great Bible study to do alone or with a group.

I was very surprised that Malachi held so much revelance for my life on worshipping God. The study is so well thought out and interesting that I kept returning to the study, even though the time in Malachi was showing me some much needed change in my approach to God and my reverence of Him. I was very convicted and repentant (just what I needed!)
What a timely study for this generation - a generation that has lost its way with respecting any authority - especially God's right to rule the Universe and our lives. The author balances our relationship as child/slave and God's relationship with us as a Loving Father/King very well. This is an insightful study that will give you a more balanced perception of God and have you coming before His throne with great reverence and anticipation.
