I had never heard of this author before and needed something to read and so I grabbed the book at a local Walmart and started to read it. The story is really good I was getting mad at Micah for holding on to Rossi even though it was evident he wasn't all that interested in marriage until he almost lost his mother. The story took an unexpected twist and I was really floored. I like how the author was able to show the main characters flaws and strengths made the reader feel like she could relate. The friends were also going through some things as well so I think the book could have been better titled Girlfriends because it showed the strength of their friendship through all their bs with men. The ending did leave me hanging and i hope the author has a sequel coming to clear up all the questions. But it was a really good book overall and I wish her much success in the future.

I really enjoyed the novel "Before I Let Go" , I was wondering does it have a part 2 to it. The novel kind of left me hanging at the end.

I will admit that I am slightly bias since I am a Kimberly T Matthews fan. Her work never fails to deliver a humorous story fill with pertinent wisdom and interesting plot twists. This book doesn't disappoint. Micah Abraham finds herself in a rut with a ghetto proposal (no ring), friends whose lives have more drama than hers, and an unsettling feeling that she is making a huge mistake. Personal Note: been there, done that, bought the T-shirt and burned it. LOL

Okay so as I was saying... Micah has a lot going on and none of it is as she would like it to be. She does what many of us have done: hold on to the imperfect(for us)man we currently have for fear of getting something worse the next time. Kimberly Matthews allows the reader to shadow Micah as she figures out what she needs to do. Through much of the novel I found myself getting angry with Micah as well as her friends. At other points I wanted to cry.

Kimberly T Matthews paints very vivid pictures so you truly see the book being played out in your mind. I found myself choosing actors and actresses to play the parts of characters in the novel. :-)

I agree with the reviewer that there needs to be a part two. Rossi's (attempted) Revenge or something like that. Shoot, I just want to see him lose a limb or something just so I'd feel better about his sorriness! LOL
