I was sitting in front of the t.v. at four in the morning and put this on to fall asleep to. 98 minutes later I was telling a friend what I just watched.

Very surprising movie giving the description it seems like it's going to be another ho-hum sci-fi flick.
Definitely not. The astroid dooming earth sets up the movie but it's focus is more on a man protecting his family. Not from an asteroid. I'm surprised there was only one review for this movie.

WOW! This was an unexpectedly fantastic gem at Screamfest 2009. The Writer/Director answered Audience Questions after the movie and said the Movie was hard to categorize because it had the scifi backdrop with the incoming asteroid, but there's no doubt in my mind this was a Drama. This was way too emotionally griping to to not be my movie of the year.
