I got this book as my first step into body building. I found it terribly short, yet somehow bursting at the seams with mindless generic comments of very little actual value. The author is clearly not a professional writer, something that I would normally forgive in this kind of a book if there was any value in it. I wanted to know what kind of weights to use, how I should measure the right level of exercise for me, how I should progress upwards to heavier stuff with time, and ideally mistakes to avoid in the actual execution. This book was a complete waste of time and earns the only one star review I remember giving to anything. Absolutely terrible. Terrible.
