Beginner camera? This will be my first real digital expensive camera, I have average knowledge of a P&S camera, will this be to difficult for me to use?

It's pretty good, as a beginner I picked it up pretty fast. All in all I love my new camera :)

That won't make any sense, since it shows an "AF" button in the back of the camera.

Does the X10 have an auto focus? I read that they don't have one in order to get the form factor this small.

I don't expect this to be a very difficult camera to use. There's always the auto mode to fall back on.

The key point to take note of is really how good and fast the autofocus is. You'll want to wait for reviews to appear before making your decision. I've the X100 and the autofocus performance there wasn't up to my expectation - it wasn't as fast and accurate as I like.
