Wonderful Kid-Friendly Devotional,

Our family loves "The Beginner's Devotional." Our kids, ages 4 and 8, look forward to the "Kenton Family" stories each night. My husband and I like the way this book teaches by example in a way our kids can grasp. This is the only devotional I can find that chronicles the life of a single family that wants to follow and honor Jesus, but face the same challenges that any other family with children would face. We don't usually take the time to do the crafts, but those ideas look good, too. We usually just read the stories and answer the questions then try to incorporate the prayer points into our bedtime prayers. I only wish that Mr. Barcliff had written a second and third and fourth addition!
