Gillian Shields is the author of several picture books, including Ben and Gran and the Whole, Wide, Wonderful World and The Starlight Baby. She lives in Sussex, England.

Sebastien Braun studied fine arts in Strasbourg, France. He has illustrated many books for children, including I Love My Mommy and I Love My Daddy. He lives with his wife in London, England.

With the squishy cover, it's already a favorite for my shelf to share with nieces and nephews and one day my own kids. This book is a great tool for bedtime reading or anytime cuddly reading. From discussing what a teddy bear is, to what they can do, to preferences for teddy bear toys to teddy bear doctors and teddy bear sleep, this book is a great educational story that will leave readers child and adult alike wanting to snuggle with their teddy.
