This book gave me the confidence to start investing,

I new very little about investing in stocks before reading this book. I learned about different stock index's, what the stock index's represent, the different types of stocks and how they react and move based on the numbers, etc.I especially liked the section on how to read individual stock stats and understand what it means. It also shows you where to open a stock brokerage accounts that charge less than $5/trade. I finally made my first stock buys and it was very easy to do online. This book took the fear out of investing in stocks for me. Very useful information.

Great book for beginners and some helpful tips for experts too,
This review is from: Beginners Guide To Stock Market Investing (Kindle Edition)
I picked up this book as an informational piece as I'm thinking of beginning to invest a little bit on the side. It's full of wonderful knowledge and resources on stock trading and actually provided me with the insight I really need to get started.I found a great place to trade in here for a really low price, as well as, learned a few of the basic tax reporting laws. If you are just getting started trading in the stock market, then definitely give this book a try!

Short, author needs a proofreader,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Beginners Guide To Stock Market Investing (Kindle Edition)
The book is VERY short. I can't tell how many pages it is on my Kindle, but I read it in about 25 minutes. The information is very basic, but helpful nonetheless. The author should have had the book proofread. It is full of minor grammatical, typographical and spelling errors. For instance, "you're" is often spelled, "your", and "company's" is often spelled, "companies". If you want a quick read on some basic terms and ideas, and can tolerate many small errors in the text, then this book is for you.

Start in the right direction!,

As a newbie to the stock market I had no idea what I was doing (at ALL). I always hear the stories of people being able to work full time on stocks from home and obviously..that sounds like a darn good job to have! This book was incredible in terms of walking me through everything in a manner that was easy to follow. It explains the basics of stocks and then guides you into purchasing and how to invest your money. I would highly advise anyone who is new to stocks and wanting to earn extra money to check this book out. I bet you'll end up earning more than you pay for the book!

Great guide,

I am thinking about getting started in stock market investing, and I am very glad I found this book. It gives you great explanations and definitions on terms and where to go to get started. I love being able to view this on my Kindle and for $0.99, it gives you much more information that you would think at this price. I highly recommend this for beginners.

I don't have much of a business background and the stock market was always kind of something I viewed as intimidating and not something I could do myself. This book does a fantastic job of taking the fear out of investing and breaking things down and explaining them in a way that is easy to understand. It isn't too long and can probably even be read in one sitting, but it gives you everything you need to know without cramming too many extraneous details down your throat. It gave me the confidence to get out there and do some investing. I have recommended this book to all of my friends who don't know much about the stock market and would recommend it to anyone who wants to get into the world of investment.

A little investment itself,

This book is short, sweet, and to the point. I knew practically nothing about investing in stocks prior to reading this, and now I have the basic knowledge required for the confidence to begin buying stocks. This book helped me learn the terminology that I previously hadn't understood. It really was helpful in getting me started in the right direction. I've also read his book "How to Retire Before 40" which I also recommend for anyone trying to reach realistic retirement goals.

This book answered all my questions, and more!,
This review is from: Beginners Guide To Stock Market Investing (Kindle Edition)
This was exactly what I was looking for! I am very new to the stock market and have very limited knowledge and didn't know how to really get started with investing. This book answered all my questions and even answered questions I didn't even know to ask. Highly recommended to all beginners!

Waste of time,

I agree to the former post saying that the author should've proofread this first - I don't think is even qualifies as a book, it is incredibly short, full of mistakes and hardly delivers any information. I could've done this better at the breakfast table. Oh wait, maybe I should - so the book DID help me finding an investing idea, so this is why it gets one star :-)If you need a really good beginner's investment book, I can only recommend 'the neatest little guide to stock market investing'.
