About the Author

Michael Omalia, a pioneer in the high-rise window cleaning industry since 1980, is a journeyman window cleaner. With his first business in Las Vegas, Nevada, he developed new techniques for cleaning the windows on many of the high-rise hotels and commercial buildings in the state. In the early 1990's, Mike realized there were no books on window cleaning, so he wrote this book. He owned and managed a large window cleaning business in southern California and has developed new equipment currently being used in the industry. He also patented "The R.E.D.E. System", an emergency decent system for escaping high-rise disasters.
