1.0 out of 5 stars The Worst of the Worst, December 31, 2004
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This has got to be the worst CBT on the planet. It really is 99% of some goofy looking guy talking out of his you know what. He stutters throughout the video, and like one of the previous reviewers said, they didn't even bother to edit out the bad takes. He pauses for about 10 seconds when he gets tongue-tied and can't spit out the term "Windows Server 2003". In the first chapter he says something like, "Windows 2000 (pause)...I mean Windows Server 2000. Hold on (long pause). OK, let me start all over again." He doesn't even show a bulleted Powerpoint slide until something like the 3rd chapter. Not only is this NOT professionally edited, but it also bored me to tears. Save your money, do not buy this. I know it's very inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. If you want quality instructional video, get Learnkey or CBT nuggets.

This DVD covered very good topics for a beginning network professional, but, unfortunately was overshadowed by the poor video editing.

1.0 out of 5 stars Server 2003 DVD a Total Waste, December 22, 2004
This is possibly the poorest and most disappointing training DVD ever. It is 99.9% talking head with few graphics. They didn't even bother to edit out bad takes. DVD navigation is amateur at best. As a major user of training DVDs to learn programs such as PhotoShop and others, I am quite familiar with DVD training pieces. This is absolutely worse than I ever could have imagined and totally useless. Save your money and buy a book to learn this material. Avoid this companies future products as they obviously have no clue what they are doing.
