This is the wonderful SLOW version of "The Beginning is the End is the Beginning"

with proper subwoofer, this song sounds even better. it has so much bass, helps flesh out the dark feeling in it.

This is definitely the awesome song on the Watchmen Trailer 1. Have never heard it until now and am smitten. What a brilliant idea to use it on the trailer. I would never have guessed it wasn't written just for the Watchmen movie, because if you look at the lyrics, it fits quite perfectly to the Watchmen story and plot. Incidentally, did I hear Philip Glass on Trailer 2? Again, another inspired piece of "music casting". Whoever did the Watchmen trailer really knows his/her music and truly rocks.

Absolutely my favorite song from the Smashing Pumpkins.

Dark, moody, angry, whatever you want to call it. I call it angst.

This song fit the movie "The Watchmen" perfectly, so if you know the movie, you know the mood of the song.

Yup, one of the songs here was stuck in my head, and so I bought the album. Although I have the song I wanted on a Batman movie soundtrack, I wanted to see what else they had to offer, and I wasn't disappointed in my purchase.

This was a song produced for the movie Batman and Robin back in the day. I just watched the trailer to "The Watchmen" which comes out March 2009, and I hope I get to hear the "repurposed" version of this song in its entirety someday.

I'll be brutally honest, I typically hate anything by The Smashing Pumpkins. For me, it's not so much the music but the nasally congested voice of the lead singer.

That said, this is still a very good song, mainly because of the music and not so much the vocals. And yes, it has been in a couple of music trailers and probably for the same reason (good song, not good lyrics/music).

I don't listen to it often, but I picked up the mp3 for this one track because you'll never hear it on the radio and once in a while I like to give it a listen. For that purpose, and that alone, I still think it's worth checking out. My $.02 anyway.
