I read this book in a day and my entire life was changed immediately. It tells you why, how and provides sample daily menus. I've never been more satisfied with a book in my life. I ordered five for friends and family when they saw the change it made in my attitude, weight and health. I have no more arthritis, I'm off my meds and feel young again. Best of all - I think more clearly than I can ever remember.

Genesis 1:29 gives the correct view as to what God's Plan was for us his children. As earthly parent we want the very best for our own and so does our Heavenly Father. There were no stoves, pots or pan in the garden of eden, our foreparents consumed the fruit of the land provided by God and their lifespan exceeded well beyond nine hundred years. If we follow bibical history mankind life expectancy did not drop until after they began eating cooked food and meat. It was then we see a sharp decline in the lifespan. God's way in the beginning is the best, correct and the right path to bring us back to Him.

William Scott's book " In the Beginning, God Said: Eat Raw Food" thrilled my heart and I read it from cover to cover in a matter of hours. It was the first time I had encountered a Seventh-Day Adventist( as I am) who took the counsel from the spirit of prophecy ( E.G. White) and brighten the glow around the health message. I have often wondered why we as seventh-day adventist are still experiencing some of the same diseases and illness as the world when we have the truth on health reform. I believe it is because we have not except the raw truth that the foods we consume should be in the most natural state as Sister white states in her writings. In The Beginning, God Said: Eat Raw Food has given me the bibical support I need to glorify our Father in my diet

Thank you Scott. The book inspired me to go down the path of righteousness for His name sake. You are right, we have forgotten the health message that the bible gives. Christians as well as Adventist today come down with the same ailments as the SAD world. Why, we refuse the diet given to our parents in Gen 1:29. The book has motivated me on the right path of eating and drinking to the glory of God. My health has improved and the need for doctors and drugs has become a thing of the past. We are wonderfully made if we give our bodies that which is made for it. Thank you. By the way, I ordered 4 more books to pass out to friends.

Short and to the point. This book was an easy read, full of very pertinent

information. We should all heed these words. Easier than we think.

I recommend this book for anybody curious about how we should eat to nourish our bodies, using God's guidelines.
