4.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Book..., March 27, 2000
By A Customer
Lial and Hornsby have written a number of books on Algebra. Hence, their expertise in this field of Mathematics and ability to deliver in the form most suitable for the middle and high schoolers , in particular is wonderful. Review Exercises at the end of each major subdivision provide means for readers to practice. And also ensure that the readers have gained overall expertise in the particular subdivision. Tests provided also aid in this process. The topics are well organized and explained. Very Good Book...

This book is used in some college classes but is also a great tool for kids learning algebra. It comes with a CD & post it tabs to help you find pages easily that are on a test or that are giving you trouble.
