About the Author

Founder of Simply Youth Ministry, Doug Fields has been in youth ministry since 1979 and is currently on staff at Saddleback Church in Southern California. He's the director of Purpose Driven Youth Ministry, and the author and co-author of more than 50 books, including the bestsellers Speaking to Teenagers and Your First Two Years in Youth Ministry. My small group and I started this book 3 weeks ago and it's been good. There are a lot of resources in this book and it's really helpful. The only disadvantage is that I wish it contained an answer section, so that if we didn't know the answers to some of the bible study questions, we would have a guide and correct answer to it.

I used this study to teach a high school and junior high Bible study. A lot of good material to pull from. the only down side is that they printed it to look hip so some of the pages are hard to read. I would continue this series.
