Samples of business documents (such as a business plan) are included so that the reader can get some idea of where to start, what to include, why charts are helpful (and how to create them), and the careful use of fonts to show clear organization.

Knowledge of Word is assumed, but the reader is not expected to know how to create, for example, a folding brochure or newsletter.
