From the Inside Flap
This inspitational volumn, containing a collection of short essays transmitted telepathically to Bill Thompson, is devoted to self-realization and spiritual growth through personal responsibility, self-esteem and respect for others. Beginnings provides 15 passages received from Catharine Maria Sedgewick for self examination of our response to others and to those in our spiritual past; responses to our environment, both man-made and physical; and responses to our personal God. A multitude of sensible, cheerful and empowerinmg life principles await the reader of this uplifting volumn. Back Flap When asked what influenved his life, Bill Thompson replied, " The movies, the public library, the Quaker Meeting, and holding Janet Flanner's hand." Authors both dead and alive seem to like him, which may explain why his personal library contains more than 60,000 volumns collected over a thirty year period and why long-deceased writers converse with (or through him) via telepathic writing. He hails from western Pennsylvania but now divides his time between the Hudson Valley in New York, the lowcountry of South Carolina and St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.
