Two brothers, Mike and Ty, leave their farm in the hopes of Mike getting taken on as an apprentice. A sudden summer storm, complete with tornadoes, and flash-floods separates the brothers from one another, Mike sets out to find his little brother to get him home again... if the tornadoes, twisters, as the boys call them, haven't destroyed their home that is.

This book read like I was watching a movie. Characters that you "get" from the start, and a world you can identify with. It's as engaging as The Hobbit, and as interesting as Stephen King's first four Gunslinger books..... especially the fourth. I can't wait for the next book from Griffith. Hopefully VERY soon!
