This huge book describes brain scans, brain chemistry, neurochemistry, behavioral/personality genetics, chemistry of depression, anxiety-you name it.
It discusses the heated debates and social class differences and genetics.
It states like my other books that our likes and dislikes have strong genetic ties-just like the claim that our social attitudes, values, morals have genetic ties.
Our behaviors have a strong genetic base!

6 of 10 people found the following review helpful By Wong Chi Kin on May 1, 2003
Format: Hardcover
The book is a rather good introductory book upon behavioral genetics, covering various emotional and behavioral disorders. It is stimulating and interesting, and very academic in nature. To a reader searching for practical implication of behavioral genetics, there may be little appointment. No matter what, I do agree that the behavioral genetics is a subject that every psychologist, or even every person, should have some ideas about this new development in science.
