This is truly one of the best split Cds ever.. Beherit's side is unrivaled in insanatity.. pure chaos! Holocausto did everything on this recording, and he has done a killer job, 4 tracks on here, they are a little short though, which is bad in a way, cause after they are over, you're left thirsting for me. But anyway, this side is really supreme, same ol beherit like we know only experimental and a little more structured. Now off to Archgoat fellow finns, this side is truly, utterly amazing! Downtuned black metal w/ puke, vomit your guts vocals.. popularized by early Beherit. The playing is kept fast , but there's also plenty of tempo changes, and they are crushing, also some keyboards here and there are added to the mix and just gives a really horrific atmosphere! sure to give you goosebumps. i guess you can compare these guys w/ early Beherit only they play their instruments better, and are more focused and have better production, plus those ultra sickening vocals. 7 tracks for archgoat (including intro/outro) highlights here : 'the rise of the black moon' , 'soulflay' and pretty much the whole side on here, as for beherit. all the tracks are killer, not one weak song on this split! Fans of raw/chaotic BM will whorship both these bands , i sure do!! =)
