I bought this book and read it in two days. It is a great book!! Brenda does a great job of making you feel like you are right there with her. The things she talks about, though brought about by her battle with cancer, can apply to anyone even if you have not been directly touched by cancer. It also a wonderful book for anyone battling cancer of any type. Her dedication to God and her family is felt throughout the book. I was lucky enough to have met her recently and she is very genuine, loving and happy person. Thanks Brenda for sharing your life with us!!

Even if the disease has not touch you, you probably know someone who has been affected by it. This book gives you insight on the personal side of working through these difficult times. You will see that cancer makes you slow down and enjoy each day as a blessing from the Lord. God has a plan for each day and we need to be still and listen to hear him speak. This and other spiritual lessons in the book are presented in a loving and encouraging manner.

The DVD included with the book is an excellent resource. The author, a television news anchor, does a great job of presenting this material in an informative yet caring manner. You will see the actual exercises you should be doing after any kind of breast cancer surgery. After watching the DVD you will feel more ready to deal with your own cancer issues or those of a loved one.

Every woman and man affected by breast cancer should read this book and watch the informative DVD. You will put this book down feeling encouraged to live your life the best you can today. You will also realize that praying for those who are struggling with cancer right now can be just as powerful as sitting next to them in the hospital room. Thank you Brenda Ladun for telling your surviving story so we could see how God worked in your life and be encouraged in ours.
