4.0 out of 5 stars "Slamming Our Sledges Down On Their Heads, All Posers Soon Will Be Dead!", November 4, 2005

This review is from: Behind the Wall of Sleep (Audio CD)
This here is an excellent EP from Macabre, the masters of their own blend of Murder Metal. Although a four song EP may seem to be really short for Macabre (their average song length is one and a half minutes), the songs on here are classic.

We have Fishtales (1:49), a song about Albert Fish, the old creepy man who was a cannibal of young children. Then we have Behind the wall of Sleep (3:52), an Unexpected Black Sabbath cover in which Corporate Death actually delivers the vocals in a normal voice, it's really good. Then we have the song Slaughter Thy Poser (2:14); this song alone is worth the purchase of this EP, the Lyrics are awesome and make me laugh every time. The album closes with Freeze Dried Man (3:59), an awesome song about Jeffery Dahmer.

This EP is out of print and right now can only be found on the Sinister Slaughter/Behind the Wall of Sleep CD. If you really like Macabre I recommend that you avoid that re-release and find each album used because the packaging of that re-release is an abomination. The EP's name is misspelled as Behind the WALLS of Sleep for crying out loud! Anyways, find this EP it's got great songs and as I've said, Slaughter Thy Poser makes this worth the price alone for anyone who hates the Emo/Gawth/Nu-metal crowd. Only reason that this isn't 5 stars is because there could have been a few more songs like their rare Unabomber EP. Hoped this helped.
