The nature of such a forum as this is ripe for tangents which relate to the subject, but let's try to keep the tangents on this side of talking about grandma's recipe for snickerdoodles, etc.

To start: One of the things I find interesting is the general unawareness that the planet's climate undergoes continuous change - always has - always will - as our investigations back into earth science time repeatedly reveals to us. So, if it weren't for the new onslaught of junk science being implemented as a new religion in the halls of science, a discussion about climate change would be like talking about why the sun is blindingly bright.
