The beginning is difficult, starts directly from sentences but when you get used to it and listen the beginning for some time, the rest is easy to follow and understand

I typically try to master enough of the language in countries I visit to get by as a tourist (ordering food, buying things, navigating around, etc.) For non-European languages, I like mastering the sounds and cadence of a language before looking at the written language/grammar. This CD set is great for this. The "teacher" speaks very clearly so one can pick up the nuances of the word sounds. The scripts start out teaching you basic, functional words and then continues to build on them, so you can put together basic functional phrases almost immediately. What I appreciate is periodically there will be a review of key words/phrases that were introduced earlier.
