Praise for Makrina
I have used this book for personal growth and for a book club at Church. Sister Makrina speaks to your heart and soul. Her book: Behold Your Life is introspective, soul searching, and deeply spiritual. I recommend it to anyone looking to know herself/himself better and to grow in God.

Not for me
I found this book hard to relate to. It wants you to reveiw your life from prior to your conception on. I'm sure some people would benefit from this exercise but I found it difficult to get into that mindset. Definitely not the book for me.

My overall review would be that just when you think you know yourself there is always something more you can learn about yourself and your life that you have buried over the years.

I found the adventure of reflecting on my life and circumstances from even before I was born to be a delightful and insightful experience. I highly recommend this book even if your family circumstances were not as favorable as mine. To recognize God at work within me since conception is remarkable.
