If you pull the amp out of the box and play it right away, it isn't the greatest.

However, I did some research and found that if you replace the tube with a Chinese Groove Tube 12ax7, and replace the speaker with a Jensen Mod 8-20, the sound quality, feedback, warm-up time, etc., improve a lot. Still, it is not the greatest for performing, but if you hook it...

This amplifier is okay for practicing, but don't expect good results when performing. Its greatest downfall is the loud feedback. Another downfall is the warm-up time. The amp needs 10 seconds to warm up. But, it is designed for travel, and abuse.

Still, it is not the greatest for performing, but if you hook it up to a PA system via the output, it should do just fine.
