The FBQ1502 features the amazing, patent-pending FBQ Feedback Detection System that instantly detects feedback frequencies and can also be used as an audio analyzer, making the FBQ1502 a welcome addition to any touring rack. Another FBQ1502 highlight is its dedicated mono subwoofer output with adjustable crossover frequency that lets you add some extra punch to your music.
The FBQ Feedback Detection System lets you immediately recognize and eliminate feedback frequencies. The FBQ Feedback Detection System uses the LEDs in the frequency band faders to indicate the critical frequencies. This makes what was once a labor-intensive search for feedback frequencies nice and simple.
In normal operation, the fader LEDs indicate frequency ranges with the highest energy levels, therefore replacing a separate audio analyzer. If you keep an eye on the LEDs while you play back your music (or during the sound check before a show), you can easily identify those frequency ranges showing the highest energy levels. Similarly, increased signal levels on individual frequency bands indicate a higher likelihood that feedback may occur.

This incredible rack unit goes the extra mile to make sure you sound your best. An additional low cut filter removes unwanted frequencies such as floor rumble, while a highly accurate 4-digit LED output metering and input gain control let you easily adjust levels. High-quality components abound, such as the ultra low-noise audio operational amplifiers for outstanding sound performance and the servo-balanced inputs and outputs with 1/4" TRS and gold-plated XLR connectors. Outstanding reliability is guaranteed with the high-quality illuminated faders, detent potentiometers and illuminated switches.
Balanced Inputs and Outputs
The Behringer ULTRAGRAPH PRO models feature electronic servobalanced inputs and outputs. The servo function performs automatically, recognizing when unbalanced signals are connected and internally converts the nominal signal level so that no signal level difference between input and output signals occurs (6 dB correction).

This is one of Behringer's better products. This equalizer delivers a high quality level for a modest price. The unit is quiet, easy to use, and is not only great for E.Q. for instruments like digital keyboards and electric quitars, but for home recording as well. For those of you like me who believe that too much equalization does not improve sound quality, you will certainly find this type of equalizer useful

I happen to like Behringer products and own several. I do studio recordings and it is awsome. Very user friendly, and the price was great. I just wish they would make a rackmount digital recorder.

I really like this EQ. It has many features like bypass (in/out button), +/- 6/12 db change control, FBQ which is an amazing feature, you don't think you would use it, but you will a lot. Like I said, I love this eq, works great. I use it with a compressor (Behringer MDX1600) and a FX processor (Behringer FX2000) and it works great. The only thing that is an issue (it might not be to you, it depends) it gets very hot, if its in a rack it might be an issue but it hasn't been for me. Thats the only thing that would be an issue. From all of us here a Studio46, you all have a nice day.
