After 2 month use, I am very happy with the speakers - great replacement for stock PC speakers from years ago. Full clear sound and great look. they are not small so make sure you have space.

This review is from: Behringer MS20 24-Bit/192 kHz Digital 20-Watt Stereo Near Field Monitors (Electronics)
Behringer makes good speakers, these are very linear for the size and well designed for good bass response. I thought about dinging it one star just because they are a tad underpowered with 10W per speaker (20 total) but they have enough headroom for their size as pc speakers or digital mixer speakers that I did not. SELDOM do I ever need 20W at my mixing workstation but it's nice to have headroom, which these do have. It's just that they want so much more money (1.5x) for the 40W total / 20W per channel version of the same speaker. They should drop the 10Wpch and just make the 20Wpch which would be an excellent product. Still, getting this ability for less than a benjamin is a great pricepoint. The advantages are that these work well with all digital systems - I am moving to all digital workflow now and these speakers take optical or coax directly to the speaker, which is a great benefit. On the coax digital you can use a video distribution amplifier to make multiple coppies of a coax digital signal to feed several devices from one digital source. I use 24 bit / 96 khz most of the time but the speakers are rated to 24 bit/ 192 khz and autorange the digital input, so things just work no matter what you are sending to the speakers. If you are not all digital yet, they feature a full compliment of analog inputs so you can buy these today for your analog mixer and when you move to digital your speakers won't need to change. For flexibility - 5 stars For value - 5 stars For audio output only - 4 stars For ease of connectivity - 5 stars In summary - its a 5 star product at 99 bucks In all honesty you don't need more than 10 watts at a mixing board - save the kilowatt amps for the house speaker systems - hopefully someday we will run optical cable to our house amplified speakers and connect them digitally from the mixer. I would recommend you measure the power in watts you use at your workstation today and decide on the 20W total or 40w total version of this when going all digital. That way you do not underbuy power. Keep in mind that both designs have ample headroom on the amplifier.

great computer speakers,
By DD "S" (Chicago, IL) - See all my reviews I found these speakers which seemed to be just what I needed, the price was a little steep for computer speakers but since I also wanted quality I had to except it. Hooked them up last night, no more buzzing, the sound is GREAT, I couldn't believe how clear and crisp it was and it had decent base too. I was a little dissapointed there was no subwoofer out since I do have a mini sub in that room, but don't really need it. I cranked it up to see how much space it would fill and I could hear it perfectly clear in both bedrooms on the same level without maxing the volume. These speakers are a little big, bigger than my mini stereo JVC speakers but they aren't too bad, right speaker is sort of heavy as that has the amp in it, left is pretty light. I would recommend these for anyone wanting computer speakers with optical in and don't need full surround sound for their games, no better option out there.
