I use this power adapter for my pedals and it is excellent.
The noise between several pedal effects is not a problem. I connect a wah, a metal distortion, a phase shifter, a tremolo and a reverb and the sound is clean. And it can supply enough power to all these pedal effects. TIP: But if you connect a "line 6 echo park" together with the other pedals, because the "echo park" produces huge noise...

Maybe I got a lemon, but one of the daisy chains shorted out within two months of use (weekly practice and one gig). Buyer beware to check your cables for shorts.

The Behringer PSU-HSB is the right device for simply powering all 9V pedals a guitarist might use. There is more than adequate power supply from the PSU-HSB to drive most pedals. The included connectors, cables,and adapters are very handy and allow for fast, clean setup of stomp boxes organized separately or in a pedal-board configuration. Use proper care to insulate the unused power connectors in the daisy-chain harness to avoid electrical shorts and unwanted electronic faults with connected gear. The PSU-HSB can be installed with velcro strips and cable ties to create a custom power setup with pedal-board units. The PSU-HSB is a great product to enhance any guitar player's effects gear setup.

i had a controller board requiring 6-9VDC with minimum 1000 mAmps. i used a brandless chinese transformer, it burned my board. then i used "Behringer Power The World Psu-Hsb-All All-Country Dc 9 V / 1.7 A Power Adapter With Daisy-Chain Connectors, Jumper Cables And All-Country Mains Adapters" ASIN: B001AJKIFW . it solved my problems, it is a precision device, the specs on the device are the ones you get. 100-240 VAC to 9VDC. i can rely on it.
NOTE: the polarity reserval connection (the red one) must be used if you need +ve center. great product |
