I bought the Behringer BXL450 Bass Station as a practice amp to hide alongside the couch in the living room so I wouldn't be limited to the rather big set-up I use for live gigs which is stored in my tiny office space, in my home. This little amp is surprisingly powerful and could be used for smaller live gigs. The equalizer works well to shape the sound, but I am still experimenting with the second channel sound manipulations. I wish now that I had gotten the model above this one as the options are even greater. All in all I am definitely satisfied with this model. It looks great and packs quite a punch.

I frequently use the RCA hook-ups to plug in a cd player or iPod to play along with songs. I put a lot of songs and bass instructional mp3s on my iPod and can jam along with them. I also use the headphone jack that cuts out the speaker for the late night practices. My family is grateful for this feature. I couldn't be happier with the volume that this little 45-Watt amp puts out. I can rattle the house with no distortion. For the price, performance, and size, I can highly recommend the Behringer BXL450 2-Channel Bass Workstation.

was looking for a bass amp- local shops had them for hundreds...and practice amps were tiny.. found this behringer amp for a very reasonable price.decided to purchase the 45 watt model... received it in a timely matter/ AMAZON is GREAT!/ took to the studio-plugged it in and rocked out! all features are easy to use and user friendly. this system has rca in-puts for cd/i-pod...works great. very happy with this.

Great amp! The price is very good for such a powerful amp. It is not the heaviest when you have to move it. It is a bit complicated to get the initial setup because of the many controls it has, but it has a lot of potential once you get to know how they all work.

For the price, it's great. It'll rattle your room, basement, or even garage door.

However, it's a little underpowered for hanging with anybody else - any Celestion 10" speakered guitar amp or bigger is going to drown this out. It's pretty light for what it is, so it's easy to move around, but even playing with a single guitarist everyone is straining to hear you at max output.

Running a Spector 5 string with active preamp, it sounds pretty good, save for low B work - it just doesn't really have the depth to punch out the low lows.

The amp sounds a lot better than I had expected. However the distrotion channel isn't useful. Not sure what they were thinking when they added that aspect of the amp, but for backing acoustic guitars or apartmetn practising its great.

I needed a new amp for practicing and this one "fit" - for size and for price. It's loud enough to practice with a group, has a jack to hook headphones up that can double as a line out for home studio recording or just to practice without disturbing anyone, and is easy to tote around. My old amp was a beast - great power, but a total anchor to lug around and needed a big car or truck to fit - my small economy car can carry this thing, my guitar, and still have room for everyone. The single thing I would like the manufacturer to consider is a footswitch for the channels. Other folks have mentioned it also, but I still bought it, and I know that during sessions, I don't really need to switch that often anyway. Besides, if I ever get to needing that (because the band is performing on some really big stage) I would consider upgrading to the same kind, but the next model up which has the footswitch and a bit more punch. Anyway, for what you pay, I have no big complaints and am very happy with this unit. Oh, and the line in feature is awesome to be able to practice with background tunes - cheap and easy way to mix!

I love this amp. It's all I was hoping for. I use it with my Fender P bass and also run my lap steel through it. It has a great sound for the lap steel which surprised me. The built-in equalizer does a fine job of giving you variations of sound. I've used it on three gigs so far and it has performed well each time.

Great intermediate amp. The punch is fantastic and it's powerful enough to keep up with our guitarists amp. Would be great for small venues

Got this 4 months ago with a Line 6 Spider amp. I use this for electronic drums. Great amp. Flexible. Solid. Worth the money.

This equipment is used for a boy who dreams to be a rock star. He play electric guitar and electric bass, and it does very well ( third party opinion) He work hard to obtain it. I listen all day and part of the night beautiful music thanks to the amplifier. There are another brands with more reputable name. This equipment worths the money he paid for it. Love your kids all the time and you will be happy in the elderly. Thanks AMAZON.COM
