This video demonstrates the cheap materials, and instability of this scratching post. It won't last long and our cat is not comfortable with climbing on it. She doesn't go up to the higher levels without being tempted by treats - when you see how it wobbles, you won't blame her.

As soon as i took the pieces out of the box my cat was interested. She started playing on it and going in the cubby hole before i could even finish setting it up! As for the negative review...of course something that tall and narrow won't be very sturty by itself. The way it's shaped looks like it's ment to be put in a corner. That's where i have mine and my cat has made it to the top level with no problem. I definetly recommend it! And not to mention it's one of the least expensive cat condos out there!

We had gotten the cat tree house for our two cats. We had been getting the cheap ones. Our cats didnt go on it at first until we had started showing them that it was meant for them. After that it is now a week later and they absolutly love it. I see them on it all day long. They especially love to lay in the house part where it is dark and they think they are hiding. They also love the mouse, it is so fun to watch them play on it. I think this cat house was worth every penny we spent on it. We put it in the corner and it is really sturdy and the cats love the soft fabric that is on it. I would recommend this cat house to anyone not only for the price but for how much our cats love it.

my girls love it
i read in the reviews that it was a little top heavy, so i put some weight in the bottom, and its been great! not carpet, its a fluffy fabric but its not as noisy so i like it.
