Osterberg's superb photographic images, Being A Bride is an inspired and inspiring celebration of what it means to become a married woman through the celebrational rituals of our culture. The profusion of black and white images, as well as the wealth of color photographs, perfectly capture the joy of the moment. These images, underscored with brief yet heartfelt snippets of poetry and prose, make Being A Bride a superbly presented, heartwarming, and memorable tribute to a very special form of personal and familial happiness.

I very much enjoyed this book. The photography is incredible.
The author starts you out from a little girl's perspective, and takes you through all stages (as well as the emotions) of becoming a bride. It is very touching. I think it makes a wonderful gift book. I would recommend this book as a shower gift or a new engagement gift.
