About the Author
Medical journalist Rita Baron-Faust produces WCBS's Report on Medicine. She received the prestigious 1994 Rose Kushner Award for Writing in the Field of Breast Cancer and a Science Writing Fellowship at the Marine Biological Laboratory at Woods Hole. She lives with her family in New York City.
