Lessons are repetitive and weak.,
This review is from: Being God's Man in Tough Times (Every Man) (Paperback)
I've used this series for about three years for a Rescue Mission discipleship program. I love the series but this book is the weakest by far. The eight lessons are extremely repetitive. The other books have questions that stimulate good discussion of learning applications. That is not true for for "Tough Times".

Our Catholic men's group (Men of Faith) worked through this book. It is excellent. The layout is easy. The questions are tied in with the first book of Samuel. Very strong practical application and great for discussion.

The books were what we wanted. All of the Every Man books are excellent. The authors are very experienced and really do their job well.
