4.0 out of 5 stars Being Human: An Introduction to Cultural Anthropology
The author has presented a dearth of scholarly investigation into our world of diverse cultures in an exceptionally rational and objective perspective. The materials contained therein are relevant, helpful, and easy to understand.

1.0 out of 5 stars no book was sent; only workbook!
I ordered the book on two different occasions, and all I received was the workbook. I need the textbook! I have already spent over $40.00 on it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Wrong book, July 8, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I was sent a workbook from some other author for Mari Womack's book. Twice.
The description says nothing about this workbook, so perhaps they do not have the real book.
Misleading author/editorial review for a book which you arn't buying.

5.0 out of 5 stars Non gender specific view point., September 18, 1998
By
This book takes a non gender specific view point of many culturals and cultural aspects. Previous books I have read from leading Anthropologist take a males view and see things to gender specific. I a male reader and found Mari Womack an excellent reader and enjoyed a non bias look at other ethnic groups.
