More About the Author

In the late 1970's I retired from the advertising world and began a one year search to see if there was a God or more to the point a set of principles which could bring me a happy life. My basic question was "is life just random or does it have a pattern". I expected the answer to be random but much to my surprise I was introduced to an inner voice which lead me to various unique places and amazing experiences. I was so intrigued I have continued to go deeper and deeper into this adventure. I never intended to write books or even share my experiences because many were very personal. Quite by accident a book was born which I call Listening. Three more books have followed. These books are mainly about my experiences and what I have learned. I do not seek to tell others how to live or what to do. The only advice I have for others is to seek within yourself for answers to your questions and to follow your inner urgings. Life can be a wonderful adventure. Love is the only power. Lee Coit

Being is the third in a trilogy with Listening and Accepting, each of which was written a few years apart.

Each book alone would rate perhaps 2-3 stars, but together they go off the top of the scale. The first two books were intensely personal and honest accounts of a spiritual search, but somewhat lightweight - rather too glib and self-satisfied. He found what he was looking for?

This book is the opposite and feels as though it were written by a different person. Now he looks with different eyes and searches anew.

Read all three and read them in order. By then you feel you know Lee Coit intimately and the shift in perspective in the third is quite beautiful.
