4.0 out of 5 stars Love it!
This is the latest official Osho book and, at this stage, I could buy it only on Amazon.com. I have read probably 12 of his books, every one more than once, and with this book I will do the same.

Not everyone resonates with his message, some find it too challenging, but for me it meets my experience and then leads me deeper into it. It is enlightening...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not Quite the Osho I Like
As usual, Osho is at his best and worst in offering meaningful advice. Repetitive, logical, probing, iconoclastic - he is all this and more but fails to produce a work that is the mark of a master. Read it if you do not possess the power to think for yourself and question all he says; for those who'd like some intellectual pow-wow, I agree, in bits and parts, with one of...

4.0 out of 5 stars Love it!, February 25, 2008
This review is from: Being in Love: How to Love with Awareness and Relate Without Fear (Hardcover)

It is enlightening.

Like his others, this book deconstructs the illusions we live with and puts us in touch with a deeper or higher level of insight, with specific reference to being loving and relating to others, both intimately and generally.

As far as I know, you won't find better.

4.0 out of 5 stars good reading, June 6, 2008
This review is from: Being in Love: How to Love with Awareness and Relate Without Fear (Hardcover)
The book starts out really good, but then you realise it has limitations because it was not written as such by the Rajneesh (OSHO) but rather is put together from interviews he had with couples, and so there is no flow as such. But otherwise he is a very clever insightful man and there is lots to learn from his unique way of looking at human relationships

4.0 out of 5 stars Explains a lot..., April 9, 2008
This review is from: Being in Love: How to Love with Awareness and Relate Without Fear (Hardcover)
Once I realized the book is a compilation of speeches rather than a "written" text, the book was much more enjoyable.

The concepts are quite interesting and left a few gems that I'll be thinking about for a long time -- if not utilizing. Only 1 or 2 concepts were possibly too radical for me right at this moment, but for anyone in a long-term relationship or who's ever experienced heartache, I think it touches on feelings that we've had but didn't know why or how to break out of the cycle.

It's totally not a self-help book. It's truly the philosophy behind love. If you want something to debate with a group of guys & gals on a Friday night, get them all to read this book and see what comes of it!

osho has some marvelous insights into love relationships... unusual for an "eastern mystic." he seems to understand the complexity of the issues... I have benefited immensely from his work while going through some challenging relationship issues.... his writing is simple and straightforward; easy to understand... a great book to share with a partner... will especially benefit people who are familiar with eastern meditation and mysticism

5.0 out of 5 stars Perspective-changing, June 9, 2011
This review is from: Being in Love: How to Love with Awareness and Relate Without Fear (Hardcover)
Being In Love is a new favorite; it has changed the way I see and experience love and the relationships in my life.

This book acts as a guide, teaching you not only about what authentic love is but also who YOU are. With provocative questions and startling ideas, you will come away from this book with a greater understanding of the truth of your being and the truth of life itself.

I feel like I've put on Osho-colored glasses. Life makes a little more sense -- in a nonsense sort of way.

5.0 out of 5 stars OSHO never disappoints!, April 29, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Being in Love: How to Love with Awareness and Relate Without Fear (Hardcover)
OSHO's new book is what I feel to be a continuation of Love, Freedom and Aloneness. His view of love is revolutionary and eye opening. I love his way of making points through stories that are funny and aspiring. His idea of love is universal, and not limited to only one type of love like that of a mother, son, or wife. In truth he talks about loving each individual on the basis of love itself not on the title that person has in ones life. A must read for anyone willing to discover a new way to love without limitations and conditionality's.

I would highly recommend it. It validates what I already feel but Osho puts it all so elegantly. If you are not already a very forward, out of the box thinker, be prepared to stretch yourself. If you are already familiar with Osho you know what I'm talking about so yes get this book. If you are unfamiliar with Osho and want to really hear the truth that will set you free, purchase this work. I only wish it were in paperback so I could get that one and mark it up as it is a compilation to be studied and remembered.
Get this for your partner, get it for a friend, get it for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Challenging The Way of Love, June 28, 2009
This review is from: Being in Love: How to Love with Awareness and Relate Without Fear (Hardcover)
This book is so wonderful that it unearthed great difficulties within my relationship. I am thankful for that, because I know that his words were true. I understood that his objective was not to teach us a philosophy or a way of life, but to return to our natural state, our unconditioned state.

As always, good luck on your journey wherever that takes you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Being In Love, July 13, 2009
This review is from: Being in Love: How to Love with Awareness and Relate Without Fear (Hardcover)
This book is great. Very informative and knowledgable with the ways of life and love. I related a lot to this book and it has changed my life. If you have issues with love or you want a better understanding of love then this book can help you have a wider understanding. Some of Oshos ideas I would have to disagree but for the most part he is right on point.
