We love this puzzle. My almost 3 year old got this for Christmas and can put it all together by himself (it takes a little time) but if he needed help it would be easy to separate it out for him into seasons and therefore a manageable 8 piece puzzle. I wish I would have gotten this for him a year ago. Although now, he can put together much larger regular puzzles (24pc w some help) but this is much easier for younger fingers and still gives them a challenge. This is a great step once kids have outgrown the peg puzzles. It's rated for ages 4+ but honestly, I think that a bright 2 year old would love this. My son has played with this much more that he ever did with regular 12 and 24 piece puzzles. I think we are going to get the body one next. They built very well and they actually travel well in a backpack.

This is the third Beleduc puzzle we own. My son (age 5) loves this one and the boy and girl puzzle. They're very well made and seem a lot more fun for him than traditional puzzles. I'd recommend all Beleduc puzzles for children ages 3 - 6.

I'm not a big fan of wooden toys because they are overrated, but this puzzle is really neat. It helped my three year old learn the seasons in just minutes vs. me trying to explain it to him with book pictures. In the summer he took all the pieces outside and kept telling me it was warm and sunny in the summer. Very cute and durable. I suggest this brand to everyone. It makes an excellent and well thought out gift too.
