5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best photo books ever, January 16, 2009
By
This review is from: Belgicum (Hardcover)
This is an amazing book. I remember the times when I started to become really interested in photography. Looking at books, monographs of people like
Weegee, Eugene Smith, August Sander, Irving Penn in those days could be revelations. Photography has been my job for over 20 years now and that feeling and excitement does not grab me all too often anymore. Stephans book is one of those rare exceptions. Genius. Only photography can do this. When in doubt, look at this. Thomas Kern
