Meaning rocks too, but as I listened to Belief again, I realized, "You ain't got NOTHING on THIS ONE!"
The ending vocal is beyond awesome. Just re-listen to the way he does it, it's very captivating. Sure, Gavin is great may be a bit overrated, but honestly, he's doing much better than I could do at the moment. And after all of the decent lyrics that may confuse, it came at a very, very nice time and it makes you feel the whole thing so much more. Now, I must say the production and such is somewhat basic: drums, a bit of guitar in the back, but the words totally carry the weight. "Oh, you stood by me & I'll stand by my...belief." 5+ stars. end note: sing-along-to-the-end!! |
