This is the 4th book in Steve Murray's Reiki Series... I have to say when I bought it I was wondering what possible information could he add that he had not already covered... But, I bought it anyway as I loved his other 3 books and each of those had surprised me too...
I found to my delight this book was just as hard to put down as the other 3... This book is packed with insightful information about Reiki that you won't find in another book (trust me on that one), one of the reviewers stated that perhaps linage made a difference in the price you paid to become attuned, and that even if that were true, it wasn't worth the extra money... That almost sounds like this system is less powerful because it's not directly passed down from the proper Linage - after Steve's book you won't ever question if Linage is more powerful again - I look at it this way; even if you're not a Christian - everyone knows the Story of Christ, (I think) lol and, can ONE honestly say that Christ would charge you 10,000 dollars to be a healer? Can you honestly say to a mother (Struggling and poor) trying to support and pay for the medical bills of a sick or dying child from a horible illness such as Cancer or many other illness, that she could not become a Reiki Healer to help her
child because she can't afford the high prices it takes to become a healer? I don't understand this kind of thinking... Steve brings to us a way to receive a divine power that isn't in us - we simply channel it - so why can't we get it the same way Usui Did? I believe Steve Murray is that channel to help spread the gift of healing to the thousands of
people who need it... This 4th book clears up so many misconceptions about Reiki and what it is and is not, and will open your level of thinking because once we stop analyzing, or taking in new information, the sooner we stop learning. Steve Murray quotes a Buddha quotes in the beginning of this book, one of my favorites:
"Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense." Thank you Steve Murray for another beautiful book to help those of us on this journey that don't have 10,000 dollars to find the way to enlightenment, and offer healing's to those we love...

The Reiki I and II classes I took with a Reiki Master were very shallow. I had a thirst to understand and asked a lot of questions, which seemed to be met with unrelated stories that did nothing but frustrate me. I think part of my problem is I have been a teacher for 15 years and teachers are always the worst students. My fallback plan was Google which has a lot of awesome information that started to fill the gaps. The problem there is that the information conflicted depending on the site, and some of it just plain felt wrong. This book affirmed a few things that I had felt were right, but do not have the experience or years under my belt to jump to such conclusions. This book helped me in that respect and while I found myself being dragged down a road that would have made this appear to be a new "religion" this book brought it back to what Reiki was meant to be in its purest form.....In my opinion.

After two years of attending expensive Reiki classes with a local Reiki master, I discovered Steve Murray's books and DVD's. I was very skeptical at first, as I was told that Reiki had to be taught in person, distance attunements were not effective, Reiki symbols were secret, it takes years to learn to give Reiki attunements, and many other false beliefs. I purchased Steve's first book and attunement DVDt hinking it was a scam, certainly too good to be true. Now, I can't begin to tell you how wrong I was! The first book not only explained everything I had learned in two years, but it also debunked all the false beliefs that Reiki was a long, complicated, and costly process. It also explained how to pass the attunements, which most Reiki masters will not disclose. The attunement DVD was awesome. I will never question the effectiveness of a distance attunement again. I am not a very religious or spiritual person, so if it worked for me, it can work for anyone. Since then, I have purchased all 4 of Steve's books and all 5 attunement DVD's. Steve has truly made Reiki available and affordable for everyone! The attunements are powerful and the books get right to the point, covering an amazing amount of material in a short time. Without these books, it would take many years of research to learn all of this information. Everything you will ever need to become a Reiki master is packed into these books. They are a must read for everyone interested in Reiki healing. Whether you are a beginner or a Reiki master, these books will enhance your abilities. I believe they will be the best investment you will ever make. I wish I had known about Steve Murray's books and DVD's a long time ago.

I am sorry to say there is a lot of misunderstandings about Reiki. This book does not help clarify them. I agree that although Reiki secrets should not be kept secret, some of them are are still sacred. Having read this and other of Steve Murray's it is clear for a Reikimaster that he is obviously not a first class Reiki teacher and although students may gain from his books and CD's they are not quality or proper Reiki training - that ensures that the students really understand and learn Reiki. His books may help get into Reiki, but they are certainly not equivalent to in class training with a certified and qualified Reikimaster teacher. Even some of his exposed symbols and beliefs are WRONG. Here is Steve Murray exposed:

Reiki is not unique and different from other healing energy modalities WRONG: Why then did Usui - the founder of Reiki - say there is nothing like Reiki in the world and that "The Usui Reiki Therapy is something no one before has discovered and bears comparison with no other treatment in the world......" Is Usui wrong or in lack of knowledge about his own healing-system? Is Steve Murray an Usui Reikimaster or conceived Reikimaster?...

Non-healers cannot use Reiki Symbols False Belief

Wrong - The symbols have to be activated to work properly - why else would Steve Murray try to attune people with CD's?

- Reiki Symbols have a power of their own False Belief
WRONG - The symbols carry innate frequencies (that has an affect on non-Reikihealers as well)

- Reiki lineage is important False Belief -
YES AND NO - If you are very in tune with the universal force from which Reiki comes - lineage is irrelevant, but all teachers have to start somewhere - and are attuned by the teachers before them who received and "plugged" into Reiki. There is a lot of knowledge and experience to be gained from acknowledging good teachers that have gone before Steve Murray. Or Does Mr. Murray really think that the best teachers are those that do not need to learn and can only teach themselves?

A Reiki Attunement is needed to become a Healer False Belief

WRONG Attunements are necessary because one cannot access the higher frequencies that are associated with the Reiki levels unless one is already at that frequency level. Vibrational level varies from one student to another. That is why the master with the help of Reiki adjusts the attunement to the student. Steve Murray apparently needs to check his own Reikimaster manual on attunements!!!

It takes years to become a Reiki Master False Belief -
WRONG although you can become "Reikimaster" in a weekend, that only means that you know how to pass on Reiki to other people, but what is your spiritual and healing knowledge? Properly not much. It takes years to become a proficient and qualified Reikimaster teacher of Reiki.

His Other false beliefs are quite ok, but these are only false Reiki beliefs because there are not enough good Reiki teachers and the training standards have been declining continously over the past 5-10 years so that many students don't know enough about Reiki. Not least because of Steve Murrays books.

He is really doing an excellent job in spreading further false beliefs with his 4th bestseller on Reiki false beliefs

Steve Murray's books and DVD's are wonderful. Very informative and easy to understand. I can now give Reiki Attunements to myself and others. I can Beam and Scan, and can protect myself from Psychic Debris, this was the hardest for me to achieve. I have used Reiki on myself, many of my friend, several who are Reiki Healers. My sister who is a Reiki Healer, My husband, who was sceptic, has also recieved and been helped by me with Reiki. I am a Registered Nurse, and work in a Post Anesthetic Care Unit. I have helped many, many of my patients (with their permission). I have been practicing Reiki for many years, without formal education. I have read several other books on Reiki in the past, but it was not until after I received the Attunements with Steve Murray DVD's, and read Steve Murray's books that I noticed a huge improvement in my skill, and I truly felt complete.

This comprehensive set of guides is an awesome review of Reiki basics with all those little things you may have forgotten over the years.

After reviewing all four books (Reiki Ultimate Guide Volumes 1-3 and Reiki False Beliefs Exposed For All) I found that the sections on psychic sugery (Volume 2) and the entire book(Volume 3) about aura attunements really grabbed my interest the most. I plan on using the aura attunements where I can in my practice, starting with myself. I am also interested in the Reiki Healing Attunements because when I was taught my level 1 and level 2 we didn't really have such things, it was a more hands on, balancing with specific spot healing when needed. I like the approach of using the chakra's and appreciated the layout you gave for the chakra's and their associated physiological areas. Again, very useful. These books and the 3 DVD attunements have totally changed my perspective about my practice of Reiki. I can truly see why you term these volumes as a Toolbox. I would suggest that any serious Reiki Practitioner should read and re-read these as they are definitely applicable to the 'real world' applications of Reiki. Thanks to Steve Murray for his insight in getting these out to the world!

As a Reiki practitioner, I found this book very helpful. Thank goodness I was blessed with common sense and know when to use Reiki and when not to (this book will also explain this), especially after reading on a major skeptics website about a Psych-Nurse that used Reiki during a psych-patient's attack on another nurse. As a medical professional, just reading that made me cringe. Reiki has a time and place for it's application.

Now this book is great for beginners to answer a lot of questions about Reiki, and will definitely prepare you for a future using Reiki on the public! I liked that Murray has a section about working in "hands-off-mode" due to the nature of our society and lawsuits when it comes to "touch" and being accused of inappropriate touch. (IMHO,you can thank greedy and souless lawyers for this sick society of sue-happy people...thanks to a society like this, this type of thing runs over into our serene world of mind, body, and spirit!)

The book is an easy read and is packed with common sense tips and really takes out the "hoo-haa" that some Reiki teachers spread as false beliefs to other newcomers. Murray is definitely grounded in his works. And if you are wondering, his videos are good too.

Reiki has been a blessing to me and has helped bring me out of this overly stressed world that we live in. It truly works and can totally change your life and those who receive Reiki energy through you. For those who aren't believers in Energy Work (I used to be one.), the psychological benefits are amazing and Reiki can truly induce deep relaxation which leads to a healthier body. As someone that received Steve Murray's Reiki 1st Level, 2nd Level and Master Attunements and also Psychic and Healing attunements and read the Reiki The Ultimate Guide (3 volumes, really looking forward to the forth one that is coming in July this year) and Reiki False Beliefs Exposed For All I want to express my deep gratitude to the author and tell that Steve Murray's work is superb. The author shares Reiki with the world in an honest, simple and understandable way and you can feel that his intent is genuine. After attunements I always felt an inner shift occurring, felt like each time my energy vibrations were lifted to a higher level that left me with a feeling of inner calm and at the same time inner strength. I like Steve words at the beginning of each attunement "I believe at this very moment our energies are connected in the now". These are not just words, it is something that really happens in time of attunements, it is very real. Before attunements Steve Murray gives detailed instructions on how to prepare yourself for the attunements, what to expect during and after attunements, which position you need to hold your hands. All the smallest questions that you might have about attunement are covered. The same is with Steve Murray's books. They are extremely clearly written guides, (step by step, with photographs) how to give Reiki 1st, 2nd , Master, Healing and Psychic attunements (volume 1), how to perform Healing Attunement with Chakras to help heal a specific physical ailment or disease (volume 2) and how to perform Aura Healing Attunement for specific mental and emotional issues (volume 3). Reiki False Beliefs exposed for All has all answers that you can imagine about Reiki in easy to understand question - answer form. Quoting Buddha (volume1), Rumi (volume 2), Confucius (volume 3) and Lao Tzu (Reiki False Beliefs...) in the beginning of each chapter is also a very nice and inspirational touch. You will get the wealth of information about Reiki symbols and their use in everyday life, about charkas and meridians, about aura and its layers, how to sense, see and protect it, what its colors mean, how to prepare and protect yourself from physic debris during healing session etc.
Reading Steve Murray's books makes you feel light and uplifted versus scared and limited since Steve always recommends to take from his teaching what resonates with you and leave what does not.
I truly believe that taking Steve Murray's Reiki Attunements and studying his books from cover to cover will give you enough knowledge and confidence to be a Reiki healer to heal others and yourself . Those are the only complete sources you need to learn Reiki. Buy and study his products, you will not be disappointed.

The Truth... Finally!!
It is about time that someone had the courage to bring out all the crazy ideas that were spreading around and bring truth to people about Reiki which is the most wonderful thing in the world. Reiki Master Steve Murray had spent considerable time to research and expose a lot of the ideas that have been circulating around for years, keeping healing away from the people that should have it. For those who already have Reiki, Imagine this.... You are first attuned to Level I Reiki, you are of course in a wonderful mood, exposed to some of the best feelings you have ever had, and WHAM.. you are now told that this teacher you have studied with, this school is affiliated with ONLY TRUE REIKI!! Mr Murray puts that and all the other crazy ideas away as his carefully written book shows how in truth, Reiki is for everyone. As in all his past books, the information is easy to understand, well formatted and an absolute must for every Reiki Practicioner and especially every Teacher.

My wife says she has learnt so much new interesting stuff from this book that you simply won't find in others.
