if you're a beginner and you want to move on from just your basic garter, stockinette and rib stitch this dvd is really great! it shows you a ton of new stitch patterns step by step, it stops after each step so you can catch up you just hit play again when you are ready to move on and there is a little project for each stitch (one is a cable and bobble headband that i've now made for quite a few friends) if you can't buy it try getting it from your local library like i did
