This album pays tribute to a wide variety of great Sherman songs from film and stage over their entire career. The artists performing the songs are broadway / pop style and bring renewed spirit to the songs. If you prefer original soundtracks and artists, this album may be a disappointment. If you like modernized remakes, you'll love it.

Although you may not know them, you have without a doubt heard the music of the Sherman Brothers. Writers of such fabulous movies as Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and musicals such as Busker Alley, the Sherman Brothers have been famous for decades. In this new compilation of their music, current theatre and recording artists create new and beautiful renditions of these famous tunes. Particular highlights include Sugan Egan lifting her chin up the heavens in that classic tune for Charlotte's Web, and Gary Beach(the only man who could ever play a candlestick and a drag queen) lighting up the CD with his brilliant rendition of Busker Alley. Believe me, you do not want to miss this magical collection of songs. I have been purchasing CDs for years, and this is one of the best choices I have ever made. Believe in the Sherman Brothers
