A passable beach read if you can ignore the typos!,

I chose this book after a search for a light read that take place in Oklahoma, a state that has recently sparked my interest. Well it is set in Oklahoma and it's a light read, but that's about it. I find the writing style rather wooden and there are several typos in the book which I find unforgivable! I don't want my reading experience -- such as it is -- to be interrupted by seeing the word "later" when "latter" was clearly meant. And "loose" when she meant "lose". Please! I definitely would not spend the money on the hard cover edition. I'm curious about Brown's other books as she seems to be quite prolific. But apparently quality is less important to her publisher. Unfortunate.
