4.0 out of 5 stars Great songs, disappointing remixes
My favorite new band, the Scissor Sisters, have hooked Kylie up with a first-class disco song on "I Believe I You." Jake Shears & Babbydaddy have concocted a knock-out piece of ear candy that captures all the elements of a great Kylie song- it's light, fun, minimalistic, & very Euro-disco. Imagine Donna Summer's "I Feel Love" re-produced by Pet Shop Boys. Like her 2003...

3.0 out of 5 stars I Believe(D) In You!
I was so excited when I bought this single... I really love the origianl version and I was anxious to hear the remixes but I was so dissapointed, the remixes are not good that good at all...

The Mylo Vocal Mix- sounds like a video game and there's no chorus!
The Skylark Mix - is just music with her vocals saying "I believe in you, and if you ever had to...

Like her 2003 single, "Slow," the song is so simplistic it's barely even there. Yet after 2 or 3 listens, you won't be able to deny its presence in your head.

The non-album track, "B.P.M" is a nice addition to the Kylie catalog- an energetic, upbeat dance track that could have sat comfortably on either of her last 2 albums.

As for the 2 remixes here, they are both mediocre. The Mylo vocal mix actually cuts out the chorus of the song & the Skylark mix is almost completely vocal-less, baring almost no resemblance to the original song. Pointless.

The video is included on this disc & mirrors the concept of the song: less is more. Kylie is simply standing inside a lighted globe, performing the song, looking as gorgeous as ever. Nothing groundbreaking, but fun if you're a fan.

So- skip the remixes & enjoy the rest!

4.0 out of 5 stars A GOOD SINGLE ... But Remixes are AVERAGE..., January 10, 2005

I have to admit when I first heard about her new single which was released together with her ULTIMATE KYLIE x2 CD collection to date. It was so infectious and something new compared to her last album. We now see her moving into something like Pop/Techno/hip-hop together on one track. As this track is also co-written by the Scissors Sisters. This song could rush back to those late 70's and 80's club rythmn's. The remixes are okay but could've been better. BUT they are not bad at all. I think they are just filler remixes. But anyway. A good buy if your a kylie fan.

The Mylo Vocal Mix- sounds like a video game and there's no chorus!
The Skylark Mix - is just music with her vocals saying "I believe in you, and if you ever had to go away" that's all.

Then only stand outs on the single are the original version (which you can get on THE ULTIMATE KYLIE cd) and the video which is not like a regular Kylie video but it's still nice and the picture for the cover.

5.0 out of 5 stars This single was written by Scissor Sisters!, October 30, 2005

Kylie Minogue, the most talented singer from Australia, has teamed up with Jake Shears and Babydaddy of Scissor Sisters for this amazing single! It's full of disco beats and electronic synthesizers! It's so good, you'll want to hear it again and again. Music like this makes me smile. I believe in Kylie and I think you should get this now!

5.0 out of 5 stars I Believe In You UK 2-Track, April 9, 2005
1. I Believe In You (Album Version)
2. B.P.M. (Non-Album Track)

B.P.M. is a GREAT b-side, total album material, i'm surprised it wasn't on Ultimate Kylie. Get this!

5.0 out of 5 stars Pleasantly Surprised, March 5, 2005
This review is from: I Believe in You (Enhanced) (Audio CD)
Well, I just heard this song, and I have to say I'm impressed. I don't mind Kylie's music, but this is a great song. I never, ever would have guessed that it was co-written and produced by Jake Shears of the Scissor Sisters. But regardless of who produced it, for a Kylie Minogue song, this is really good. She sings it well, not in the typical nose-quivering chipmunk style she usually uses. And the music itself is, dare I say it, 'pretty.' Don't get me wrong, it's just about every bit the sugar-coated beat-ballad you would expect from a pop star, but this time around, the sugar seems a little less artificial.

4.0 out of 5 stars Kylie's Back - It's All About the B-Side "BPM" - brilliant!!, January 30, 2005

Kylie's back doing what she does best...frothy, upbeat disco-house with a killer hook - and while the A-side hit "I BELIEVE IN YOU" is competent, soaring Moroder-inspired electro-pop (produced by Scissor Sisters!) with Kylie's trademark lite, breathy coo and tech bassline, it's the brilliant B-side that really packs a punch: don't miss the instantly addictive "BPM" (that's Beats Per Minute!), easily one of the best tracks Kylie has cut...EVER! The filter-disco grooves, the big chorus, the hot breakdown, bam! Ironic, that "BPM" could be an even bigger hit than "I Believe in You" if it were a release - if this is what Kylie's next full CD sounds like, I am all over it!

Love the original, hate the remixes. The Mylo mix sounds like a dirge and the Skylark mix isn't even the same song anymore.

I'm really interested with this single. I think Kylie has mixed so many sounds to make this song and it's really great, because the slow-hip beats. I really love her voice in this song, it's really soft and smooth. But, unfortunately, why the CD single isn't really good. The video is really beautiful and I really love the way the crew arranged the lights and decorations image for the video, but the remixes are so bad. You can enjoy Mylo Mix, but don't hope for Skylark ver. For me, both are bad! Maybe Kylie should search another mixer better than them. By the way, I'm still glad Kylie has chosen the right single for her Ultimate!

kylie minogue is one of the most underrated female singers of the new millenium.... she is ever changing, beautiful, and a great singer... the public (especially in america) should embrace more dance artist like her)....

anyways, 'i believe in you' is one of her best tracks of all time....i am so glad that she tagg teamed with the scissor sisters to make this track shine...

the remixes are great as well.... she is like the queen of remix.... but the remixes do not light a candle to the original version...

get the album if you love kylie.... but if you like the song get this song.... the first great dance song of 2005
