I too have been following this author on Facebook and the beauty and majesty of his prose and equality is amazing. I am posting this review before I receive the book as I have been following it on facebook. It touches my soul and gives me comfort with the peaceful visual pictures and of course the words are well put together and flows just like a gentle stream with the soothing words that bathe you in peace. I don't often buy books of poems, I have been published in the past, but there is just something about the way this book has come together that it's one for the bookshelves so that when friends and family visit and get snoopy..they have something darn good to snoop into. The author is a creative person and it tells a good story from the authors heart, which is what a good poem or book or movie should do. It's a winner and I look forward to more from this author. Please look at this work and consider adding it to your collection or just to start one. Peace to all

I love this book. You will love it too. I promise. His words in many poems hit home for me, and brought tears to my eyes, and yet gave me comfort. I am still recovering from my husbands death and his words bring memories to my heart. Buy it, u won't be sorry.

I have been reading Jon's poetry on FB. It is touching and seems as if it written from the soul. It always touches me when I reach each of his poems. I am happy that John's book is finally out.

This author knows the pain of losing a child. He has helped me deal with the loss of my son on Facebook. His poems help not only the grieving parent but helps those who have never faced this pain understand what we go through. You will find comfort in his words!

I have been following John F Connor's amazing work on Facebook and his words touch my heart very much. To read his words makes my heart a little lighter and has helped me through some rough days since losing my fiance' and other family and friends. I will be buying this book!!!

"Believe" is an inspirational, comforting, thoughtful collection of poems that people who have been through grief would enjoy. I have gone back again and again to some of the poems - that is how much comfort they give me. I would have given it 5 starts, but the proofreading should have been better. I have a problem with improper use of words such as they're for their, etc. Other than those little irritating goofs, it is an excellent book. Since I have lost so many people close to me, including my only child, perhaps the book touched me more than it might some people who have not experienced that pain. In any case, try it, you will probably like it.

I was dissappointed to receive a book with some typos and no photogragraghs to help beautify the book. The poems all are rhymes and redundant. I feel like I am reading a 2nd grade poetry book. A lot of wasted space. I was frustrated and dissappointed after the 4th page (oh no page numbers). Sorry did not see or feel moved by any of the poems. They all sound alike after you read 4 or 5 pages. It feels like someone just did some rhyming to anything with no purpose I can see to publish a book. I get it a D- and do not recommend. I was shocked to read that this author has been writing poetry for 35 years unless it was for children's and therefore then would be qualified. Really thing pretty photos would have helped as this was misleading.
