5.0 out of 5 stars Laura Dawn Rocks!
Laura Dawn's album "Believer" has so much diversity in styles on it. If you're having a bad day and need a song to relate to, there's definitely "So Small" or "The Old You." If you're angry, there's "Party Girl." If you're happy, there's "Delicious" and "Wasted." Laura uses a lot of diverse styles in these songs...

After hearing her song with Moby, I just had to get a cd of hers.

I was very disapointed, it was not what I expected.

However her voice with Moby was so hot.The CD was not.

If you're angry, there's "Party Girl." If you're happy, there's "Delicious" and "Wasted." Laura uses a lot of diverse styles in these songs that range from punk in "The Old You" to acoustic in "Useless in LA." I never get tired of the CD and there's always a song to fit my mood. Buy it! You won't regret it! I also saw her in concert and would recommend that experience too! She's great!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome new girl rocker, March 15, 2002

Laura Dawn completely rocks!! Every Song on her CD is great from acoustic pop to hard rock to punk and the variety keeps it completely interesting from beginning to end. Influences range from PJ Harvey, Liz Phair, Garbage, Alanis, Breeders, Veruca Salt, Smashing Pumpkins but a different cool combo of all the above. Buy the CD if you're sick of hearing the same old garbage, you won't be dissappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars For those with taste in music, January 18, 2002

I usually don't write rewiews, but since I saw the lack of reviews here, I felt compelled. This has to be one of my favorite albums this year. Recommended to me by a friend, I was instantly drawn into Dawn's wonderful lyrics and powerful pop-punk music. I recommend this to anyone who wants to listen to good music with great lyrics, especially those who are sick of what they play on the radio.

I just saw Laura Dawn in concert like 5 hours ago and she was awesome. her lyrics are tough and so is she. I highly recommend this cd to anyone. Number two on this cd is the best song, it has so much meaning in it to anyone that has a friend with a drug problem. Buy the CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love the Energy!, March 7, 2002

Laura Dawn is really awesome. I saw her in concert a few weeks ago opening for another band. It was the first time I had ever heard of her, but her music was so powerful that I had to get the CD. What I was really impressed with was her ability to keep the show going after the band's van had been robbed. She still managed to get up there and give a great performance! There is raw emotion with an energetic twist to her music. You can't help but start dancing around the room when you listen to it! I would recommend this CD to just about anyone!

5.0 out of 5 stars Where is Laura Dawn??, January 23, 2006
This review is from: Believer (Audio CD)
I discovered this cd in a second hand bookstore and only paid 49 cents for it. When I got home and listened to it, I was swept away by the talent, voice and songs of Laura dawn. This cd is one of the best I have heard in years- "Free & Lonely Life", Believer", "Delicious","I would" , The best part" and especially "Reconize" were just great. I would have paid 14.99 for that cd easily. I hope Laura Dawn is out there and will release some more music, because she deserves high praise for such a great debut. Everyone should order this cd. Shes FAR better than any Ashlee, Lindsays, Jessica's, ect.(No offense to their fans, Just my veiw) this girl should really be a star!!! I hope we hear more from Laura Dawn.
