This is the best book on spiritual warfare that I've read so far. I'm not sure that I agree with him that demons can temporarily possess a Christian. But I was otherwise impressed with how strong White is in the Word. I recommend this book. And it's very affordable, too.

This book by Thomas B. White is so superbly written that any lay person can read it, understand it, and apply it to their life. I am so thankful for the information contained in this book, about how the battles we face every day are caused by outside spiritual forces for Christians and unbelievers everywhere. Yet Thomas White does not go overboard in describing the hardships we face, by attributing EVERY attack to demonic forces. He carefully outlines when it could be from other sources and encourages the reader to find someone versed in dealing with Spiritual Warfare and get help in dealing with the "heavy duty" stuff, i.e. spiritual oppression that could have been brought on by curiosity in occult activity. This opens the door into the believer's life (or unbelievers, too)and invites trouble.

This is a practical guide to prayer and spoken resistance. Mr. White is not quick to call everything demon influenced. He understands what illnesses can produce. He also has a good grip on what demons can do. He is very balanced.

Believers who find themselves in the midst of troubling circumstances definitely need the kind of guidance found in this book. Buy it for yourself. Read it. Then determine its usefulness for others.

THIS IS A GREAT BOOK TO READ IF YOU DON'T QUITE KNOW ABOUT SPIRITUAL WARFARE. THOMAS B WHITE GIVES EXPLANATIONS USING SCRIPTURE AND SUGGESTED PRAYERS THAT HELP WHEN ONE IS IN THE MIDST OF BATTLE. IT'S CLEAR AND EASY TO FOLLOW. EXPLAINS THE IMPORTANCE OF REPENTANCE AND THE POWER OF GODS WORD. I HAVE PURCHASED MANY COPIES OF THIS BOOK TO GIVE AS GIFTS. I STILL USE THIS BOOK IN MY OWN PRAYER TIME...

This book is a must for any christian who is wondering why things are so hard. If you are struggling with mental oppression, constant sickness, marital strife or addiction of any kind, I strongly recommend it. The cause may or may not be spiritual, but this book will help you find out if it is. Just as importantly, if the cause is spiritual, it will show you how to be victorious.

I laughed when I read another review that said it is just a theory. That person obviously does not believe the Bible, is a victim of spiritual blindness, and is himself an unwitting pawn of our adversary. The truth is that there are constant battles being waged in the unseen realm to keep the unsaved from being saved, and to oppose those who are saved in order to diminish their effectiveness as disciples of Christ.

Once you read this book so many things in the Bible, in life and in your life specifically will make sense. I strongly recommend it and have given copies to my friends and family.

This is a book that is easy to understand and very helpful in spiritual warfare. Mr. White addresses aspects of spiritual warfare that are very enlightening and are not addressed in many other spiritual warfare books I have read. Anyone who looks at this book as " just theory" has absolutely no understanding or conception of what spiritual warfare is all about. Spiritual warfare is very demanding and this book is a great tool

This is a great handbook. He helps you to understand and to be aware of demonic stongholds or influences so you know what you are dealing with and how to overcome, but he also does not want people to be looking under every bush for a demon. He backs up everything with scripture and tells us how to be overcomers and to keep our eyes and ears focused on the Lord. There are also many great examples of people's experiences which we can either relate to or know someone that has experienced similar things.

Very understandable in laymen terms and common sense. The author makes the reader think about the "real" warfare out there and how to protect yourself.

This book was a requirement for the Spiritual Warfare class I took. I was amazed at how the LORD showed me all the different ways I have been attacked and in bondage because of the enemy. The book points the attacks out and also how to look to Jesus for help. I suggest every Christian read this book!

This book is indeed an in depth guide to understanding the battle a beleiver faces. It will help you understand the tactics the enemy uses to bombard christians and how to war against them. The author's experiences are instrumental in helping you unravel the mysteries behind spiritual warfare. Great book, I highly recommend it.
