Andrew Murray writes about the virtue of waiting - being still before God in order to come to know God. Much of his writing is deep and one must focus on what he is saying, but once you do this you will find his writing is rich. The Secret of Waiting encompasses much: Waiting for God to reveal Himself Waiting in prayer Waiting in circumstances When you learn to wait on God you discover how great God is, how immense his love is towards us, how powerful He is and how involved He wants to be in our lives.

This is a very good book and deserves 5 stars, but it has been revised for today's English. If you prefer the original text as Murray wrote, don't get this version.

This is honestly one of the most life changing books I have read in a long time. I highly recommend it to be read and reread.
