Everything about Belinda was tiny, except for one thing - her enormous feet. We are not talking just regular large feet; we are talking feet so large you could ski with them.

When Talent Show time comes around, it is not all fun and games for this sweet young girl when Mrs. Rhino thinks that her only talent appears to be that of a clown.
Then one day sad Belinda happens upon a ballet dancer. Seeing her float on the stage sparks an idea and a smile for Belinda. Maybe, just maybe.

Sometimes you have to see in yourself what other do not.

This story brought a tear to my eye. To see a young child grow her own wings is an inspiration to all.

I bought this for my daughter who loves ballet. Its cute in some parts, but I really don't like that the teacher is so mean to Belinda. She keeps telling Belinda how big her feet are and how she should be a clown. She's mean and a big degrading to Belinda. I don't really think that's appropriate for children to see an adult treating kids that way. Is this about ballet or verbal abuse? I'm not sure.

I like this story MUCH better than the other Belinda books by this author. It's so cute how she figures out that she can be a great ballerina even with her huge feet & starts teaching herself by watching another girl dance. This one will be under the tree this year!

I borrowed this book from the library and my 2-1/2 year old daughter absolutely loves it. The illustrations are lovely and the story is cute. I ultimately bought the book because my daughter was upset for days after we returned it to the library.

We love the entire Belinda series. My 3-year-old wants to hear this book again and again. And we can't wait til Amy Johnson writes a new one.
